The Big Move

We loved our old house but had out grown it.  We have been talking about moving for a few years but really thought it was a few years off.  Then Micha said that he really felt God had put in on his heart that it was time to move. So in February on Thursday before President's Day weekend we put our house on the market.  God's timing is amazing.  We had five showings over the weekend and by the end of that weekend we had three offers on our house.  We were overjoyed and a little nervous.  We had all but sold our house but didn't have a house to move too.  

As we were getting our house ready to put on the market we put an offer in on a house we loved but didn't get it.  So the search for a new house was on.  Over the next three weeks we looked at over 40 houses and put in 4 offers.  Every offer we put in was a multiple offer situation and we didn't get any of them.  One had been on the market for 267 days and then all the sudden had multiple offers.  Which was God working because we didn't really love any of them.  We knew God had a house for us we just didn't know when we would find it and the closing date on the sell of our house was fast approaching.  Then we found it!  God know our want and needs so much better than we do.  The house that we loved didn't have some of the things we had set for requirements but when we walked it we knew it was the one.

There were so many things that lined up perfectly with the sell of our old house and buy of  our new one that it could only be by God's design.  There were some bumps in the road but we just remained faithful that God would work it all out and he did.  We have been blessed so much with our new house and neighborhood.

 Right before the move the kids got sick and then Micha got sick during the move.  It was hard but we got through it thanks to a ton of help from family and friends.  My poor little girl was sick and running a fever day 1 of the move and I finally got her to take a nap on a pile of bedding.

 Our first night in the house was just Micha and I since my parents had taken the kids for the night.  We got take out and watched part of a movie our new theater room.  I kept on thinking this is crazy that we have this in our house.  We love it.

 While I unpacked the kitchen one morning Jacob showed off his building skills and put together his Legos he got from May May and Papa for Easter.
