Abigail Elise 9 Months

Little Miss Abigail has had a big month. It didn't take her long to figure out the crawling thing. She is now crawling on all fours and zooming around the house. Jacob does a great job helping me keep track of her. He has realized now that none of his toys are safe from her and she always wants what she's not suppose to have. She started getting her first tooth at the beginning of the month and now has two. It was a rough couple of weeks with both coming through at almost the same time. She loves to clap now and sometimes will give you kisses. She really picked up saying Mama this month. Now that she's crawling she follows me around the house saying, "Mama, Mama." I love it.

She had her 9 month check up at the Dr.'s office. Her weight was 16 lbs. (10th percentile), Height 28 in. (70th percentile) and head 17 in. (30th percentile). The doctor wasn't concerned with her lack of weight gain b/c she is so active and developmentally on track. She is still waking up for one feeding at night and since she hasn't had much weight gain we can't drop that feeding yet. Oh, well... luckily she goes right back to sleep afterwards.

Starting to Crawl

I always find her sleeping in the weirdest positions.

Playing boats in the laundry baskets.

She is learning how to drink out of her sippy cup.

It you look closely you can see her first tooth peeking through.

Playing in the pool. She would hardly let me sit her in the water.
